These two friends shared an unbreakable bond, and their adventures together were the stuff of legends around campus. Every Malhar, our beloved Puddles has won our hearts with his endearing charm without defeat, but someone we may not know about is Puddles’ long lost companion: Cuddles!
Puddles and Cuddles are the yin and yang in the phenomenon that is Malhar. If Puddles loves the rain, it is Cuddles who loves the storm that accompanies. When Puddles danced in the corner of a room, it was Cuddles who would coax him into taking up the center stage. And when it was time to take a step back, Puddles taught Cuddles how to relax, and the two would quietly take in the days of preparations before the fest. Every day was perfect until one day, the pair had to bid farewell. Cuddles had to go away and build the perfect storm elsewhere, leaving behind Puddles to uplift the Malhar Morale all on his own.
The distance between them was vast, but the two kept their friendship alive with the most memorable treat there is: Cardolates! It is a long standing tradition where people send each other kind words along with a chocolate to accompany the sweetness of this gesture with something that tastes sweet too! Cuddles and Puddles would communicate by sending each other cardolates every Malhar, and thus their friendship passed the test of time each year.
But this year was destined to be extraordinary. Cardolates, the messenger of love and friendship, have reunited Cuddles with Puddles at Malhar! Their friendship graces the new Cardolate designs, and their story symbolises the bonds we have made amidst the eye of the storm this year. The designs for Cardolates this year have exceeded all expectations of creativity, and the heartwarming doodles are bound to make their receiver smile as much as the message inside them will.
