Part (1/2)
“The department photoshoots are one of the main things that people are the most excited about, I think it lived up to its hype. I can see the magic unfold.” - CP Radha Simha, Malhar 2025
From dazzling outfits to venues that set the vibe, each aspect of the photoshoot was a custom-made trove of memories. Take a deep breath and dive into the BTS.
Quartet
The most dramatic photoshoot ever.

Even the Quartet faced technical difficulties while singling out the venues from a jungle, yacht, Bharat Point to ultimately the Worli Fort. If there was one team that earned its photoshoot, it was the Quartet.
The day started innocently enough, yet in the Mumbai Monsoon, they should've known it won't stay the same. Wet equipment, getting lost in the streets and an abandonment of bags; of course, capturing a picture where everyone looked decent was another saga entirely (“A once in a lifetime experience”). With hair flying, makeup melting, and a particularly stressed Arnav worrying about his hair more than anyone else, they somehow got the coolest photo ever.
Painted Perfection
Rains, Sweat and Skirts

Even with the interruption of the dogs, the juxtaposition of the weather, and the Sunday crowd, the girl gang that is the FA department managed to get a picture as perfect as a painting. What is a little sunburn in comparison to this beauty.
Security’s Rugged Loyalty
Bikes | Shadows | Attitude

“It was very hectic, but it was pure adrenaline. And that's exactly what made it unforgettable and memorable.” They were clear from the beginning - be powerful, stoic, silent and look good while doing it. Donning leather jackets, they went for the old-school biker gang in a dusty basement, sharing laughter and last minute changes, all in pure security style.
Cre“ATE”ives
Cake | Brainrot reels | Pizza

Why not throw a fake birthday party in a merch store and write “ATE” on the cake? Just for the pun, of course. Well, there's no doubt that there was a party! Last minute, kinda hectic but just as much fun. The photoshoot was beyond just pizzas and reels, it was about design.
Welcome to WPA’s Concert
Music | Dance | Pop Culture

Portraying a concert in a studio can be a task, but with a team of musicians and dancers, it’s just another day! The LED lights and leather jackets were the second stars of the show, the first being our Metallica icons.
LOGS ke लोग
Abandoned building? Railway track? The cave.

The environment might be dark and enclosed, but there's no doubt that LOGS was definitely shining. After discarding the ideas for haunted places, railway carsheds and empty metros, landing on mundus was fate, because well, they captured the essence of their work.
Personality Harbours
Poise | Polish | Professional

“It's always been about the people, the kind of speakers we invite, the conversations we curate and the ideas that we have.” Conclave’s understated confidence reflected through their formals and the warm energy of काला घोड़ा, ensuring that they look the best hosts.
IPA’s Unconventional Royalty
Pastels | Props | Personalities

As the dream of the outdoor photoshoot was swept away like everything in this Mumbai monsoon, the studio reigned, with its perfect lighting to complement the sarees, jewellery, and props (especially dandiyas). As for the final shot? There were smiles and softness, none of those stiff royal poses here.
Light ‘Em Up
Lighting | Reverse Room | Chaos

“To be as cool as humanly possible.” That’s it. That was THE PITCH for Technicals. From scouting locations to fixing jackets, changing positions at least a 100 times and trying their best not to smile, they faced a constant war with the lighting but they served boss energy. Paradox museum was their ultimate accessory and the rest was just icing on the cake!

Gaming | Coding | Upgrading

It was a last minute affair put together in a gaming cafe — all while boasting about the quickest photoshoot FnD conducted within 45 minutes — setting up, directing and posing. They knew they wanted “different and better” and let the day - of dictate what came ahead.
(E)xtemporising (T)wisted (C)hronicles
Spontaneity | Google Maps | Costumes

“Plan in advance"? Yeah… they don’t do either. And still end up looking as they did! With the house impossible to locate on Google Maps, half the team spent 40 minutes wandering lost lanes, questioning whether the place even existed. And that's reflected in the funky hats, jerseys, ties, and vibrant accessories that made their way into the frame.
Wait around to see more magic unfold in the second part. Stay tuned!
